ClearSight
For eyes that screen breaks don't fix.
Most extensions remind you to look away. ClearSight gives you something to do when you do — Gabor patch perceptual training and structured eye exercises, in your browser.

Eye strain & screen fatigue
Break reminders are a half answer.
The 20-20-20 rule is fine. It is also the entire feature set of most "eye care" extensions. Looking away helps your accommodation reflex relax — but it does nothing for the perceptual side of screen fatigue, and nothing for the eye-coordination problems that make long reading sessions feel exhausting.
ClearSight covers both. Gabor patches — the sinusoidal patterns used as the standard stimulus in perceptual-learning research — give your visual cortex something to actually train on. A separate set of structured exercises works the muscles that move and converge your eyes. The break reminders are still there. They are not the product.

A free preset routine, Daily Eye Training (10 minutes, convergence → near-far → focus shift), is included. Premium adds a routine builder — pick any exercises, set durations, shuffle order, save your own.

Inside the extension
Everything runs in your browser.
On privacy
Your training data never leaves your machine.
ClearSight has no account system. There is nothing to sign up for. Session history, scores, streaks and settings live in your browser's local storage. The extension makes one kind of network call — license validation, if you upgrade — and Stripe handles the payment itself. That is the entire data flow.

Questions
Common questions.
Is Gabor patch training actually supported by science?
Gabor patches are the standard stimulus used in perceptual-learning research — they have been studied in peer-reviewed vision science for decades. ClearSight applies that framework as a training tool. Individual results vary, and we make no clinical claims.
How is this different from a 20-20-20 break reminder?
Break reminders help your accommodation reflex relax. They do nothing for the perceptual or coordination side of eye fatigue. ClearSight includes reminders, but they are not the product — the training sessions and exercises are.
Will it improve my prescription or fix my eyesight?
No. ClearSight is a training aid, not a medical device. It will not change your refractive error or replace glasses. If you have persistent symptoms, see an eye care professional.
Does it send my data anywhere?
No. Session history, scores, streaks and settings are stored locally in your browser. The only network call the extension makes is license validation when you upgrade to Premium.
Does it work on Edge, Brave or Arc?
ClearSight is built for Chrome. Chromium-based browsers (Edge, Brave, Arc) can install Chrome extensions and the extension generally works, but they are not officially tested or supported.
Why choose lifetime over monthly?
At $2.99/month, lifetime ($39.99) pays for itself in about 13 months — everything after that is free. If you plan to use it regularly, lifetime is the better deal.
How long before I notice a difference?
Perceptual learning typically requires consistent sessions over several weeks. Some people notice reduced end-of-day fatigue within a few weeks; others take longer. Daily streaks help.
What is the refund policy?
Monthly and annual subscriptions can be cancelled any time from your Google account. For lifetime purchases, see the Refund Policy.
